Health Research - EMFs

There is a lot of information available about how to stay healthy for those who wish to do the research. After all, the best way to avoid more doctor visits and more medications is to stay healthy and fit. So, what are some strategies that we can incorporate that can help us stay healthy? Let’s jump in and find out!

As my research continues, I will continue to add content to save you time from

Establish a Healthy Environment

What do I mean about establishing a healthy environment? We don’t personally have control to change the environment that we live significantly enough to make a difference do we? I guess we can join some community and national groups and do our part to help, which is a worthy cause that we all can pursue. However, I am talking about what can we do to change the environments where we spend a majority of our time? This focuses mainly on indoor environments (and some outdoor) where we spend time at home, eating, sleeping and resting and recharging. Some of us even work at home, meaning even more time is spent in our supposed “safe spaces.” So, we need to ensure that this environment is the best it can be for us to remain healthy.

What are some of the factors?

There are a number of factors to consider.

  • The first factor is “where” you live. Is the climate one that is agreeable with your body? This is one we can certainly consider, but it is a factor that a lot of us don’t have a lot of power to change, since it may mean quitting a job, moving away from family, friends or your church family. But if you have chronic respiratory problems like asthma or bad allergies, you may have no choice so as to not live with these conditions chronically.

  • The second factor is the air quality in the spaces that we occupy. Certainly, if there is any mold, dust or even a lot of volatile organic compounds in your home, it can have an adverse effect on your health. Stay tuned to this website as I plan to address this in a separate dedicated web page.

  • A third factor, which is often overlooked, which like air is invisible, is the level of electromagnetic radiation environment in our homes. Recent data suggests that long-term exposure to even low levels of non-ionizing radiation emitted by our electronic devices can be harmful. The International Agency for Research on Cancer, which is a branch of the World Health Organization has classified mobile cell phone radiation in the Group 2B category, indicating a possible carcinogen. This is the same category as DDT, lead, engine exhaust, chloroform, and glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup®). This is the topic on which this page will focus.

Electromagnetic Radiation - What is it?

When I discuss electromagnetic radiation, I am talking about a range of non-ionizing radio waves that have been found to cause health problems in humans, animals and plants. There are two types of electromagnetic radiation on the electromagnetic radiation spectrum, those being ionizing and non-ionizing. Ionizing radiation has shorter wavelengths that move at a higher frequency than non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation. It’s radiation is the type that is considered to be the most dangerous, because it’s exposure can cause permanent damage to the body, even killing with a single exposure. These include X-rays, gamma rays, and nuclear bombs . These are capable of rupturing atomic structures and even fracturing the molecules in our bodies instantly.

We will be focusing on the non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation that is emitted by many devices in our homes, that we trust the government has thoroughly tested to meet rigorous safety standards to ensure they are safe for our daily use. Almost all the modern electronic devices that we use daily, like laptops, tablets, and cell phones emit two kinds of EMF radiation: extremely low frequency (ELF) and radio frequency (RF) radiation. Also a large number of so called SMART devices and appliances have been and will continue to be introduced to make our lives more easy. However, if you truly want to protect yourself and your loved ones, you must do your best to manage the level of radiation in your home, especially if you have children in the home, as their developing bodies absorb radiation at a higher level.
